1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Ledge ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including trade contractors, HVAC crews, electricians, and any other individuals or organizations that access Ledge.
2. Description of Service
Ledge provides a QR-code based tool and equipment tracking platform for trade crews and contractors. The Service enables teams to check tools in and out, monitor inventory across job sites, and generate usage reports.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials. You must notify us immediately at support@ledge.app of any unauthorized use of your account.
You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Service
- Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service without our written consent
5. Subscriptions and Billing
Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. Billing occurs on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) depending on the plan selected. You can cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods unless required by applicable law.
6. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using Ledge, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to software, text, graphics, and logos — are the exclusive property of Ledge and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ledge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
